The Missouri Outdoor Club is both an amateur radio club and an outdoor club. We are a group of like-minded individuals who are passionate about ham radio and the great outdoors. We blend these two passions together to operate our radios in less-than-ideal conditions and from places that are not easily activated.
We have a desire to share our passion of ham radio and the outdoors with others. We believe that through shared experiences, friendships are deepened and through sharing of knowledge, learning abounds.
Please check our Events page to see some of the type of projects we are currently working on, or planning for the future. See the News page to read after action reports. If you are ready to jump in, the Membership page is where to go. If you can't find the answer on the website, then use the Contact page to get in touch with us.
If all of this sounds like you, consider joining us. If you love your ham radio but have never tried it in nature, perhaps you should join us. If you love the outdoors but haven't done much with radio, come and learn how much fun it can be.
Our members are also involved in many other radio clubs, service organizations and conservation efforts. The sidebar contains links to these other world-class organizations.
