MDC notifies W0MOC that the permit has been amended
WFD plans forced to change in light of the Dept. of Conservation's ruling on Covid-19 and camping.
The Missouri Outdoor Club had planned to use the William R. Logan Conservation area for WFD 2021. Due to surging Covid-19 cases, MDC notified the club's leadership that the use permit was being modified. Under the modifications, only one person will be allowed per tent.
Due this change, the W0MOC Board held an emergency meeting and determined that the new permit would not work well for the club's needs. The Board is now pursuing a backup plan for WFD 2021.
A potential alternate location will be evaluated on December 13, 2020. A decision will be made on the new location pending that review.
