The Rock Pile Mountain Wilderness area is in the Mark Twain National Forest, southeast of Ironton, MO. The party will divide into two groups, one camping near the Rock Pile Mountain trailhead for the duration of the event. Another group will hike the trail to the summit and spend the night of 10 April there. Both groups will operate phone and digital modes on HF bands. The summit group will also operate CW from a QRP portable station. This will be only the second SOTA activation of Rock Pile Mountain, reference W0M/SF-038.
